I can’t believe St. Patrick’s Day is right around the corner. Maybe some warm temperatures will come with it? I can dream.
Anyway, whether your child’s teacher is Irish or you happen to have a child like mine who will find any excuse to give her teacher a gift, putting together a special St. Patrick’s Day gift is fun and doesn’t have to be expensive.
All you need are green items and just about all of ours came from the $1 bins at Michael’s or the Dollar Tree. (The green bucket came from Hobby Lobby.) Here are the items we chose:
Green Sharpie markers
Green gum (Extra, Trident, Doublemint and Stride all have green packaging)
Green M&M minis
Green hand soap
Not only did Sophie love finding all of the goodies to put in the bucket, but it was a great way to practice her colors too. What about you? Does your child love giving gifts?
