We do a lot of casseroles and Crock Pot meals at my house. They’re quick, easy, inexpensive and everyone loves them! And with school back in, I need quick and easy. How about you?
Now this is not an ad for Weber Gourmet Burger seasoning, but let me tell you, this stuff is great. Any time I have a ground beef recipe that’s a little bland, I add about a teaspoon of seasoning and it really kicks up the flavor without being too salty or spicy. We use it on our burgers too!
1 lb. ground beef, browned and drained
1 can cheddar cheese soup
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese
1 can whole kernel corn, drained
1 tsp. Weber Gourmet Burger seasoning (optional)
salt and pepper to taste.
1 box Jiffy corn muffin mix
3/4 c. milk
1 egg, beaten
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
2. In a 2 quart (11 x 7) rectangular casserole dish, mix together cooked ground beef, soup, 1/2 c. milk, onion, cheese, corn and seasoning.
3. Mix muffin mix, milk and egg. Pour over beef mixture. Bake for 30 minutes until golden brown.
