I wish I had an unlimited amount of space to hold all of these wreaths I make. But I don’t. Remember the Wintry Burlap Valentine’s Day Wreath? Yep, it had to go. I needed the space. But instead of junking it, I kept the burlap-wrapped wreath, removed the greenery and made something else out of it–a Patriotic Wreath! This is such an easy wreath to make. Here’s what you need:
2″ x 15 3/4″ styrofoam wreath
1 1/2″ red star ribbon
Blue pre-made hair bow (Michaels)
2 rolls of burlap garland (20 ft.)
Wrap the wreath with burlap garland, securing with floral pins as you go. (You’ll have to pull and tug on the burlap to make it lay flat in the front. The back will not be pretty like the front.)
Attach artificial flowers using a glue gun.
Attach the bow to the wreath. using a glue gun. (Place it to where it covers the stems of the flowers.)
Attach the ribbon and hang!
That’s it! Your wreath is done. For more great patriotic projects, check out the Holiday & Seasonal page!
