The breakfast bar needed something. Ever have one of those spaces? Without decorations, it looks empty, but go too big or too busy and the space is overloaded. Since I decorated the top of my cabinets with birdhouses for spring, I wanted to tie in birds somehow. That’s when the apothecary idea came to mind! I’ve seen these everywhere and just had to make one for myself. Here’s what I used:
Grapevine twig garland
Artificial decorative eggs
Craft wire cutters
Create the bird’s nest by cutting small sections of the grapevine garland and placing it the apothecary jar.
Your nest should look something like this:
Place 3 or 4 eggs in the middle of the nest.
Put the lid on, and your Bird’s Nest Apothecary is done!
