This is one of my favorite Crock Pot chicken comfort food recipes to make in the winter. Sometimes you just need a meal that warms you right up, is super easy to throw together, and has the perfect blend of seasoning and creaminess. My whole family loves it! Here’s what you need:
3 chicken breasts, boneless/skinless
1 can cream of celery condensed soup
1 1/2 c. milk
2 Tbsp. butter
1 brick of cream cheese
2 Tbsp. Grill Mates Montreal Chicken Grinder
2 stalks celery, diced
1/4 c. onion, diced
salt and pepper to taste
Low fat alternatives
1 can 98% fat free cream of celery condensed soup
1 1/2 c. skim milk
1 brick of fat free cream cheese
Place chicken breasts on the bottom of the Crock Pot. Put the remaining ingredients in the Crock Pot, cover, and cook on low for 7-8 hours.
Before serving, remove chicken breast, shred it with 2 forks.
Return the shredded chicken to the Crock Pot and stir well.
