It’s been a few months since I shared the She Shed Blogger Office reveal with you and I’m just now really starting to get settled, get things put away and figuring out where I want everything to go and how I want it to look. If you’ve ever moved or changed a space, you know that it’s a process. Sometimes it’s a matter of parting with old decorations and furniture that don’t work anymore, sometimes it’s a utility thing–what do I need and where do I need it to be.
The front part of the office, where I work has stayed pretty much the same. The back part, where I work on projects, host craft nights and paint furniture, is in the back. Here’s the panorama of the entire office from a few months ago.
And here is what it looks like today:
Basically, I cleaned up the space, got rid of some of the clutter and added curtains (Pier 1) and a cute set of arm chairs I found at Kirkland’s to make it feel more comfortable. I haven’t decided what to hang on the wall behind the chairs yet, but I think I would rather leave it blank than fill the wall with stuff that I know doesn’t work. It’s amazing how just little changes can make a place feel so much more homey and comfortable?
What do you think? Can you tell a difference?
