March is such a teaser month, isn’t it? Technically spring begins in March but the weather here is usually wet and coldish. That doesn’t mean I can’t try to will it along with a pretty spring wreath though! Having bright, fresh colors on the door just makes me happy.
A ribbon-wrapped wreath really is as simple as it sounds. Just take your favorite spring ribbon (mine was 1 inch wide) and wrap a wreath form until it’s completely covered. Use tacky glue to glue the ends.
Then, add your bow (or bows!) If you don’t like to make your own bows, you can easily find a pre-made bow at any craft store and most box stores carry them too. The Easter egg ribbon came from Michaels. The aqua dots, solid and pink all came from Walmart.
Remember my St. Patrick’s Day wreath from last year? Well, I recycled the mini chalkboard from it and used it for this wreath. Chalk lettering is not my strength so I used this little trick to write “spring” on it. The decorative Easter egg came from Hobby Lobby.
