Fall is so close!!! It’s already getting darker and cooler in the mornings here…I can’t wait. I love it…the colors, the smells, pumpkin spice lattes, football, you name it. It’s my favorite season. So of course, you know I had to go ahead and put my fall wreath up.
I went with a cute chevron fabric in fall colors that I found at Hobby Lobby. Then I found some really cute burlap flowers there too and they just fit perfectly. With all of the pretty colors in this wreath, I’m going to have no trouble at all decorating the rest of my porch. Can’t wait to get it all finished!
2″ x 15 3/4″ styrofoam wreath form
1 yd chevron duck fabric (I had extra leftover)
1 1/2″ cream ribbon
Cut the fabric into 3 inch wide strips and wrap the wreath. Be sure to put dots of glue along the way so that the fabric stays put.
Cut the stems off of the burlap flowers and glue them to the wreath.
After the glue has dried, tie a large bow around the wreath and hang.
The colors make me so happy. I love the touches of blue in there. What do you think?
What about you…how do you decorate for fall?
