Teacher Appreciation Week is this week! It is near and dear to my heart because my mom is a teacher. Growing up I witnessed the work and preparation that went in to every school year–the supplies purchased with her own money and the countless hours spent grading papers and preparing lesson plans at night. It’s a lot of work, and I appreciate the work all teachers do.
So to acknowledge Sophie’s teachers, I like to put together a basket of some supplies for their classroom. By the end of the year, dry erase markers are drying up, and other supplies are pretty scarce. So it’s nice to put together a few things to help out with the needs of the end of the year and to say ‘Thank You’.
Here’s what is in this basket:
Lysol disinfectant wipes
Sharpie markers
Expo dry erase markers
Sticky notes
Glue Sticks
Elmer’s glue
Stickers
Crayons
