Happy Memorial Day! Summer is here, time to change up the decorations on the porch! With Memorial Day and July 4th being such important holidays of the summer, I went with a patriotic theme this year. What I love about the porch is how much color the sunflowers and red pillows add to it.
The chairs, table and rug are the same as the spring porch. The ladder is the same too, just painted red. It’s amazing how much you can change the look of a porch with just accessories.
I love this red metal tray from Hobby Lobby. It was on sale and I think I spent $15 on it. It’s hard to tell, but the Mason jars are burlap and twine wrapped. And I love how the sunflowers and American flag were perfect for it.
Remember this ladder? The cool thing about it is that a coat of paint is all it takes to change it to fit any season. I went with Sherwin Williams Salute in a sample size which was more than enough to cover the ladder. I distressed it, then added some fabric garland, blue Mason jars, sunflowers and American flags.
The Mason jars came from Michaels. Aren’t they great?
So, what do you think?
