I came across this little side table at an antique mall a few weeks ago and fell in love with it. It had a few dings and scratches but for $10, I couldn’t pass it up.
So I brought it home and got started! I picked Annie Sloan Old White for the table. It took 2 coats to get the coverage I wanted. What I love the most about Chalk Paint is that there’s no prep work–no sanding, no stripping–just wipe it down and you’re ready to go.
After the paint dried, I used medium grit sandpaper to distress it.
Once the distressing was done, I put a thin layer of Annie Sloan clear wax over it and I was done!
Now I just need to find a home for it. Have you used Chalk Paint yet? I love it. For more Chalk Paint ideas, check out the DIY page!
