Cooking fish can be intimidating at first. Starting out with an easy recipe makes all the difference. Cilantro Lemon Pepper Salmon was one of the first fish recipes I tried and it turned out perfectly the first time and the best part–my kids love it too. I hope you have the same luck!
4-4 oz. salmon fillets
2 Tbsp. olive oil
2 Tbsp. butter
1 Tbsp. Mrs. Dash Lemon Pepper seasoning
1 tsp. minced garlic
1/2 c. fresh cilantro, chopped
salt to taste
1. Melt the olive oil and butter over medium heat in a saute pan. When it has melted, place the salmon in the pan.
2. Cover the salmon with the garlic, lemon pepper seasoning, cilantro and salt. Pour the water around the fillets and cover the saute pan with a lid.
3. Reduce heat to low and cook for 10-12 minutes, until fish flakes with a fork. Serve over rice.
