Teachers work so hard and truly love their kids so anytime there is an occasion, I like to celebrate them by doing something special. And what’s more special than a homemade gift from one of their students? Chocolate dipped pretzels are fun and easy to make, they’re kid-friendly and they’re a yummy treat. Here’s what I used:
4-5 c. pretzels
12 oz. bag of vanilla morsels
Baker’s Dipping Chocolate (microwavable cup)
Candy box (from Michaels)
Paper candy cups (Michaels)
Red food coloring
Melt the chocolate chips according to the instructions on the container.
Once melted, dip the pretzels in the chocolate.
Spread them out on the wax paper to cool and harden.
Sophie and I kept dipping pretzels until they were all gone! After they are cool and hard to the touch, remove them from the wax paper and place them in the candy box.
