Hi there! I am so happy to be here with you today! I was thrilled when Katie invited me to share a post with you while she is getting ready for that sweet new baby of hers!
My name is Nici and you can find me over at Posed Perfection. I’m married to Mr. Perfect for Me and I am a homeschooling mom to two great kids. At Posed Perfection, I share simple, delicious recipes, easy-to-duplicate craft projects and whatever is on my heart for the day. I hope you’ll stop by for a visit real soon!
Since we are well on our way into the holiday season, I thought I’d share a really simple craft you could do with your kiddos. These Pony Bead Indian Corn cobs would be the perfect way to keep those little hands busy while you make your plans for Thanksgiving dinner.
Here’s what you need: 4 tan pipe cleaners per cob and various fall-colored pony beads.
Start by twisting two pipe cleaners together in the center, then twist the third onto those. Finish by twisting the fourth pipe cleaner onto the others.
Next you’ll string the beads onto each “spoke” of the cob in a random color pattern.
Continue this until you have about 1 1/2 – 2 inches of pipe cleaner left.
Draw the 8 “spokes” together and use the tip of one of them to wrap around the others to secure.
That’s it! Wasn’t that easy? Now you have some fun fall decor to display with your other pumpkins and gourds.
It might even be a neat craft for the kids’ table at Thanksgiving… anything to keep the kiddos happy while the adults are preparing the feast, right?
Here are some other fall posts you might enjoy
Thank you so much, Katie, for letting me share with your sweet readers!
