My daughter’s soccer coach told me about DIY ice packs and now we use them for everything!
Making one is simple. All you need is a gallon storage bag, 3 cups of water and 1 cup of rubbing alcohol (3:1 ratio).
Pour the water and alcohol into the bag, close, shake well and then freeze. When it’s ready (I let mine freeze overnight), the bag will be really cold and have a slushy-like consistency but won’t freeze completely.
