I’m doing something a little different with my fall decorations this year. Instead of just using my usual brown/red/orange combo, I’m trying to incorporate some new colors like ivory and teal with a harvest gold chevron. Mix it up a little, you know?
Making this wreath was easy. I was going to make burlap flowers but I came across these pre-made ones at Hobby Lobby for $1.99 each. Works for me!
Here’s what else I used:
16″ foam wreath form
1 yard chevron fabric, cut into 2″ wide by 24″ long strips (I didn’t use the full yard)
Ivory ribbon (1 1/2″ wide)
Hot glue gun
Cut the fabric into 2″ wide by 24″ long strips.
Wrap the strips around the wreath and glue the ends to the wreath form with either tacky glue or a hot glue gun.
When the wreath is completely covered with fabric, attach the burlap flowers with a hot glue gun.
Trim off loose threads, make a bow out of ribbon for hanging, and that’s it! Your wreath is done!
