Do you overcook pork chops? Good news, this recipe will give you some confidence back! Not only does it have so many great flavors in it–savory, sweet and spicy, but it’s also easy to prepare and hard to mess up. (My favorite kind of recipe). Here’s what you need:
2 Tbsp. butter or vegetable oil
4 pork chops
1 can cream of celery soup
1/2 c. apple juice
2 Tbsp. Grey Poupon dijon mustard
1 Tbsp. honey
salt and pepper to taste
Heat butter in a medium skillet over medium to med-high heat. Add pork chops and cook for 5 minutes on each side or until browned. Set pork chops aside and pour off fat.
Whisk together cream of celery, apple juice, mustard, honey and salt and pepper in the skillet. Heat to a boil.
Return chops to pan. reduce heat to low.
Cover and cook for 10 minutes or until pork chops are no longer pink.
Cover with cream sauce from pan and serve.
