It’s no secret, I’m a terrible cookie maker. There are maybe 3 cookie recipes I can make from scratch that I don’t ruin. (Can’t win ’em all, right?) So to add a homemade touch to my semi-homemade cookies, I make my own frosting! It’s so easy to make and I love the taste.
1 lb (1/2 bag) powdered sugar
1 stick salted butter, softened
1 tsp vanilla (or other flavoring)
1/4 c. water
Mix all ingredients together. (Refrigerate whatever is leftover).
I let Sophie add sprinkles to give our cookies a Valentine’s Day touch.
Just a few.
So tell me, are you a great cookie maker or are you a semi-homemade/store-bought girl like me?
